Celebrate the season as Pilgrim Festival Chorus presents its winter concert, Seven Joys of Christmas, on December 5 and 6 in downtown Plymouth. The program includes several different types of carols by well-known composers such as Mendelssohn and Vaughan Williams, as well as delightful contemporary music by Elaine Hagenberg, Shawn Kirchner, and Eric Whitacre. The centerpiece of the concert will be Kirke Mechem’s 1964 suite of carols from different countries, Seven Joys of Christmas, which focuses on the various “joys” that come with this festive season.
